This week’s installment of Eric’s Bad Movies at Film.com is “Congo,” in which Laura Linney and one of the guys from “Nip/Tuck” go to Africa to set monkeys on fire with lasers. I remember watching this on video in about 1996 with some other people in my college apartment complex. What’s strange is that I don’t remember thinking it was particularly stupid, even though it is. Perhaps my movie-judging skills were still rudimentary at that point.
