“I Love You, Man,” which opened the South By Southwest Film Festival last week and opens theatrically today, is a fine addition to the raucous R-rated-comedy genre. I have reviewed it for Film.com.
The other two wide releases, “Duplicity” and “Knowing,” were duly screened for critics, but I was in Austin and couldn’t attend. (Even if I’d been home I couldn’t have seen both of them: They screened on the same night in Portland, thanks to a game of scheduling chicken between the two agencies handling the films.) I promise to catch both of those, as well as last week’s “Last House on the Left,” in the coming week. Everything should be back to normal by next Friday.
