There’s only one movie to round up this week, an under-the-radar documentary called “Watchmen,” about a Swiss family of watchmakers.
No! I kid! It’s about superheroes murdering people!
I hope no one wanders into this thing thinking it’s a regular ol’ comic book movie. It’s a hard-R-rated drama with less action than you’d think, and more sex, nudity, and brutal violence than you’d think. It is not for kids! Do not bring your kids, you stupid parents.
That’s all we have this weekend. The rival studios didn’t scheduled anything to compete with “Watchmen,” and I don’t have any indie stuff to review at the moment. Have you seen that “Slumdog Millionaire” yet? I heard it was pretty good.
